Throwing courses at Waters Edge Studio

About the Courses

The courses are taught by Jacqueline Clark, a highly experienced maker and teacher. She runs half day, full day and 3 day throwing courses between Easter and October for adults who wish to learn the basics, improve or acquire new skills. Raku firing workshops also take place during the summer months.

Residential accommodation is also available. Waters Edge Studio is Jacqueline’s creekside creative and teaching space.

Jacqueline is a Learning and Participation Officer at Leach Pottery in St Ives and is a member or Cornwall Crafts Association showing work at Trelissick and Trelowarren galleries.

Her work captures the colours and textures of the rural and tidal landscape of Devoran and Penpol Creeks. Her raku pieces bring to life reflections of an industrial past with smoke cracked glazes shimmering with metallic richness.
